—Photography—

Photography for me is a way of moving through the world. A way of communing aesthetically with my environment. The drive to make photos is indistinguishable from my appreciation for existence. I’m fascinated by the material realities of the urban environment. The way objects collect in forgotten spaces, and the way time and the forces of nature transform the physical world creating something new and unexpected in the process.

I am a regular contributor to Sculptureaday (SAD), and the Portuguese project ‘fotografar palavras’, which pairs writers with photographers.

 —Fiction—

Writing is another vital dimension of my creative life. My first novel, The Fish, made its debut on Anteism Press in 2010. René-Daniel Dubois translated the text for Les Allusifs in 2015. My novella, Chloes, launched in 2014. I continue to work on a new novel, write fiction reviews at the Montreal Review of Books, and teach Creative Writing at McGill University Continuing Education here in Montréal.
